  • About Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a locally run, independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving North Los Angeles City and County, building houses and futures for low-income families. We specialize in building unique Enriched Neighborhood communities, which we are currently building for low-income veterans in collaboration with the California Department of Veterans Affairs. To date, Habitat has built 271 homes placing us in the top 5% of Habitat affiliates nationwide to reach the goal of building more than 100 homes.

  • Champion Gives Back!

Habitat for Humanity Board of Director, Bob Niesner, and Champion employees donate their time to help build homes. We encourage our clients when remodeling their homes to donate any unneeded items such as, appliances (in working order), furniture, plumbing and lighting fixtures, and even cabinets, doors and windows to the Habitat ReStore. They benefit in two ways, their donations are all tax deductible (which we love!), but more importantly every sale at the ReStore means more money towards another home for a deserving family (which we love even more!!). It’s a win-win for everyone!

Union Bank donates $100,000.00 to Homes 4 Families to use for our Veteran Homes in Lancaster.
